Viviane is the first Canadian female to win Gold medals in both Summer and Winter Games (Olympic or Paralympic). Viviane Forest has been an athlete all her life, competing as young as 4 years old in hockey and ringette for the city of Brossard in Quebec. She is a natural athlete that takes on any challenge in front of her. She has 4% of normal vision. Currently she competes for Canada in alpine skiing reaching speeds up to 120km/hr with a ski guide only meters ahead of her.

Paralympic Games

  • Winter Paralympic Games Multiple Medalist including Gold, 3 Silver & Bronze (Vancouver 2010) in Alpine Ski Racing
  • 2 - Summer Paralympic Games Gold Medals (Sydney 2000, Athens 2004) in the team sport of Goalball

World Cup Circuit & Crystal Globes

  • 2010 World Cup Crystal Globe Slalom, 2nd Overall Title, 2nd Giant Slalom
  • 2009 - 20 podium finishes in the international Alpine Race Season
  • 2009 Overall World Cup Crystal Globe - for consistent performance results all year
  • 2009 3 World Cup Crystal Globes: Downhill, Super Combined, Giant Slalom

  • 2010 Alpine Canada TELUS Award of Excellence Breakthrough Athlete of the Year
